Intro to Jewelry Making and Metalsmithing

Description: Learn the fundamentals of jewelry fabrication to create a forged or fold formed cuff bracelet, forged or fold formed earrings, and a soldered chain necklace. Techniques such as piercing, drilling, sawing, stamping, annealing, and soldering will be covered. Ideal for the new or novice jeweler, this weekend workshop will emphasize safety, tool mastery, and skill development while supporting you through the completion of original jewelry pieces. Tuition includes all supplies, except some personal safety equipment.
