Join us for FOCUS, a month-long community celebration of photography! The event will feature exhibits and activities at the Delaplaine and locations around Frederick City and County. A FOCUS Passport will be available for visitors to get stamped at participating sites for a free gift. Passports will be collected for a drawing for free photography classes at the Delaplaine! See below for where to drop your completed passport and other information. Participation is free!

Wed, Nov 7 • 7–9 pm | A screening of the film The Tale of the Lion by Ingrid Palmquist presenting the memories, wit, and wisdom of Frederick’s oldest African American citizens, followed by discussion. FOCUS Passport Information

PICK UP a FOCUS brochure contains the passport card at any participating FOCUS location, or download at PDF version here. Anyone may participate!

VISIT FOCUS locations and have your card stamped at The Delaplaine Arts Center and any four or more additional participating sites.

REDEEM your card by November 27, 2018 at one of these locations to receive a small gift:

DRAWING will be held at the Delaplaine on November 28, 2018. Participants need not be present to win. One or more winners may be drawn. Winners will be notified using the information provided on the card.

PRIZES are for a free photography class or workshop taken at the Delaplaine December 1, 2018-December 1, 2019. Prize winners may substitute a class or workshop in another media in the same time frame. If another class is substituted, additional tuition and/or materials fee may apply. Substitutions and changes are at the discretion of the Instruction Manager. Prizes are transferable.
