Beginning Jewelry

Instructor:	Georgina Copanzzi
Description:	Using the fundamentals of jewelry fabrication, create a forged or a fold-formed cuff bracelet, hammered or fold-formed earrings, and solder a chain. You will utilize techniques such as piercing, drilling, sawing, stamping, annealing, and simple soldering. This class will emphasize safety, tool mastery, and skill development while supporting you through the completion of original jewelry pieces. Suggested supply list will be included with confirmation. Suggested prerequisite: Introduction to Metalsmithing workshop or equivalent.
