Drawing Animals in Nature with Graphite

Instructor: Jodie Schmidt
Description: Learn how to depict a variety of animals in their natural habitats by using shapes and specific drawing techniques, such as gesture drawing and contour drawing, as well as using shading and simulated texture to capture the unique character of animals. Each class session will include guided demonstrations, and constructive critiques will be available upon request. Suggested prerequisite: An introductory drawing course, such as Classic Drawing, or equivalent. Supply list will be included with confirmation. (Estimated maximum cost: $40)
