Mindfulness Practice Photo Walk

Description: Learn the benefits of mindfulness through photography in this four-session workshop. The widespread availability of cameras on smart phones offers users the chance to form an intimate relationship with both the act of photography and the moment itself. Rather than focusing on the technicalities involved in taking an excellent picture, we will practice being fully present, noticing and documenting elements of everyday life to promote a inner reflection. Class will include instruction time, a walk around downtown Frederick, and close with sharing images and insight.
