Traditional Quilting: English Paper Pieced Patches

Instructor: Jessica Halpin
Description: Whether you have never sewn before or want to try something new, join this one-afternoon workshop to create a beautiful, geometric patch using English Paper Piecing. This traditional quilt technique has undergone a modern renaissance. It uses paper templates to easily piece together small pieces of fabric in different shapes, most popularly hexagons. The finished piece is perfect for a jean jacket, a tote bag, or to join together into an entire quilt! Instructor Jessica Halpin is a member of the Clustered Spires Quilt Guild, whose purpose is to share a love of quilts and quilt making. Tuition includes all supplies.
