Artobus: Glenstone

Instructor: staff
Description: Ride with us to Glenstone, a place that seamlessly integrates art, architecture, and nature into a serene and contemplative environment. Guided by the personal vision of its founders, Glenstone assembles post-World War II artworks of the highest quality that trace the greatest historical shifts in the way we experience and understand art of the 20th and 21st centuries. These works are presented in a series of refined indoor and outdoor spaces designed to facilitate meaningful encounters for visitors. • The bus will be leaving promptly at 9 am, and we expect to return to the Delaplaine around 5 pm. • Fee includes deluxe motor coach transportation and snacks on the bus. General admission to the museum is free. • Visitors should be prepared to spend considerable time on foot, and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. • Lunch will be on your own. Glenstone offers indoor dining at the Café and indoor/outdoor dining at the Patio, weather permitting. All dining services are offered on a first-come, first served basis from 10:30 am. to 4:00 pm. The Café and Patio feature seasonal menu items made with locally sourced ingredients. Each menu includes vegan and gluten-free options. Visit their website for a sample menu: https://www.glenstone.org/visit/what-to-expect/. • Space is limited, and registration is first-come, first-served. • You will receive information regarding parking and the trip itinerary one week prior to the bus trip. • Questions?
