Painting with Textiles

Description:	Fabric assemblages, including textile collage and art quilting, are increasingly popular, highlighting the unlimited potential of using mixed media to enrich and enliven your work with unique surface design. Learn how to incorporate embellished textile techniques, appliqué, quilting, thread and bead embroidery, and photographic images in your projects. We also will explore hand quilting, principles of design, presentation of textile art, and more. Sewing experience is helpful, but not necessary. Supply list will be included with confirmation. NOTE: There will be no class on October 19, which is an update since the publication of the Delaplaine Arts magazine.
