Photos to Paintings: An Exploration in Oil Painting

Instructor:	Virginia Warwick
Description:	Learn how to accurately capture a photograph and transform it into an oil painting! We will begin by learning a drawing technique to transfer the photograph onto canvas so that all of the features of the photograph are reproduced. Color theory and techniques for applying and mixing oil paint will be discussed. Students will start with thinner layers of paint and work their way up to thicker layers, mixing colors and color combinations with ease. Tuition includes all supplies.
