Experimenting with Observational Drawing

Description:	This workshop will explore a variety of experimental approaches to observational drawing. A wide variety of contour drawing techniques and drawing materials will be examined. Students will be encouraged to utilize the still life as subject matter, as well as a departure point for abstract image making. Instruction will be open-ended, student-centered, and emphasize a process over product approach. Students will be encouraged to experiment with materials and techniques through guided and independent studio practice.
