Drawing the Head: From Anatomy to Expression

Description:	Saturday 10 am to 4 pm, Sunday 1 pm to 4 pm: This two day workshop will start off by going over the anatomy of the head, emphasizing planes and proportion. Working in the morning from the skull, we will also look at examples of head studies and in the afternoon a live model will take several short poses so that students can do several small studies. On day two we will set up the model for a longer pose which will emphasize gesture and expression as well as structure. This class is geared to beginning to intermediate students.
