Foundations of Representational Painting: To be Studied, Practiced, and Taken Outdoors!

Instructor:	Brett Busang
Description:	Explore the foundations and techniques of the painter’s toolkit and apply them to the everyday circumstances that artists have grappled with for centuries. The class will be linked to, and re-enforced with, a practice that begins in writing, but lives most purposefully in the hand and eye. It will emphasize the study and analysis of natural forms; absorb the artistic influences that flourish around us; and, while paintings will be produced, it will be as keen on process as result.
