Description: PLEASE NOTE: THIS TRIP IS FULL. Ride with us to the Smithsonian’s contemporary art museum in Washington, DC, for a tour of Manifesto: Art x Agency, an exhibition on artist manifestos from the 20th century and their historical impact. The exhibition features seminal works by artists such as Jean Arp, Giacomo Balla, Alexander Calder, Salvador Dalí, Helen Frankenthaler, George Grosz, Hannah Höch, René Magritte, Joan Miró, Jackson Pollock, and Tsuruko Yamazaki. The Hirshhorn’s holdings encompass one of the most important collections of postwar American and European art in the world. The trip will include a guided tour with time to explore nearby museums on your own. Fee includes deluxe motor coach transportation and snacks on the bus. Lunch is on your own. The registration fee is non-refundable after August 31; refunds prior to August 31 are on a case-by-case basis. Space is limited, and registration is first-come, first-served.
