Painting a Watercolor Landscape (Creative Aging Workshop)

Description:	This workshop meets Monday, August 19 from 10AM-12:30PM and Tuesday, August 20 from 10AM-1PM. This two-day workshop is designed for students ages 65 and older. For the first session, students will focus on paint consistency and value, by completing a small value study. During the second session, students will learn watercolor techniques to paint an 8x10" landscape step by step. Demonstrations will be provided and together students will complete each phase of the painting process. A photo reference of a country landscape scene will be provided. Creative Aging Month includes courses for students 65 and older to explore creativity and the arts as a tool for self-expression and well-being.
