Intro to iPhone/iPad Video Production

Description: THIS CLASS IS CLOSED. This class meets Saturday August 12 from 10am-4pm, and Sunday August 13th from 12pm-5pm. Explore the fundamentals of filmmaking to create great looking videos using your iPhone or iPad in this weekend workshop geared for beginners. Learn primary functions of iMovie to edit your footage into an engaging professional looking project. Perfect for first time directors! Helpful links and supportive information will be provided. Topics Include: Filmmaking Basics, Composition, Storytelling; Intro to Lighting and Exposure; Editing Basics and Effective Transitions; Navigating Through iMovie, User Interface; Shooting and editing your own short video; Managing Video Content; Uploading final product to YouTube, Dropbox, Vimeo. STUDENTS SHOULD BRING: iPhone or iPad with iMovie installed (available for free from the App store); bring a lunch or visit downtown eateries during the midday break.
