Description: Create the ultimate selfie! Students will complete a series of self-portraits using a mirror or photo, while gaining a better understanding of portraiture and anatomy of the head. Explore rendering techniques in charcoal to create expression, emotion, and tonal range using historical examples, in-class demonstrations, and one-on-one instruction.
