Photographing Frederick: Architecture & Public Art

Description: Explore taking photographs of the historic buildings, sculptures, murals, and architectural details that reflect Frederick’s rich history and creativity. The first session will begin with a discussion on the techniques and camera settings that will allow you to emphasize the design and essence of your subjects. Then head outside to photograph around Carroll Creek, Patrick Street, Market Street, and wherever there’s good lighting. In the second session, review the photos taken by every during the first session. All cameras (DSLR, mirrorless, iPhone, and film) and skill levels are welcome. NOTE: This workshop meets Saturday, October 18, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and Saturday, October 25, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
