High School Art Club

Instructor: staff
Description: Are you a high school student looking for a challenging art education experience? Want to work with other like-minded people in a professional artistic environment? Join our new high school art club! Club members will create artwork, hear from professional artists, and curate a group exhibition of their work. Club members will benefit from a peer-oriented visual arts environment, where they can create new artwork, work on in-progress school or personal projects, discuss long-term goals, learn from professional artists, and more. The program will culminate in a group exhibition of the club’s artwork, which members will curate and design. Club members should be interested in pursuing higher education and/or a career in the arts, students who seek a challenging art education experience, and/or students who thrive in an artistic environment with like-minded, goal-oriented peers. The club will be organized and overseen by the Delaplaine's Community Outreach Manager. The club will meet every 2nd Thursday of the month, September through May.
