Description: Join exhibiting artist Stacy Lund Levy for a day focused on the watercolor techniques essential for painting animals. Instruction will cover how to evaluate value and color prior to painting, mixing neutrals, and applying masking fluid to create realistic textures and capture fine details without hard edges. While the focus of this workshop is painting animals, these techniques can be applied to almost any subject. Previous experience in watercolor is recommended. Tuition includes all supplies. "Painting from Life" will be on exhibition May 4 to June 30. NOTE: This workshop was rescheduled from June 8 to June 15.
