Classic Drawing

Description:	Drawing in pencil is a familiar and forgiving medium. It is quick to set up, easy to put away, and requires no drying time or fancy equipment! Still life will be utilized to teach a variety of drawing methods, including gesture sketching, blind contour, contour, and using shapes to construct and simplify subjects. Class projects will be completed from step-by-step handouts as well as still life setups to teach students how to complete a project from start to finish and how to draw from observation. Beginners and those who wish to refresh their drawing skills are welcome. Supply list will be included with confirmation. (Estimated maximum cost: $40)
