Artobus: National Museum of Women in the Arts

Instructor: staff
Description: Join us for a bus trip to the National Museum of Women in the Arts! This newly renovated museum in the heart of Washington, DC, advocates for better representation of women artists and serves as a vital center for thought leadership, community engagement, and social change. Their exhibitions showcase historic and contemporary artwork and their collections feature more than 5,500 works from the 16th century to today created by more than 1,000 artists. The NMWA is within walking distance of many other museum and attractions to round out your day. • The bus will be leaving promptly at 9 am, and we expect to return to the Delaplaine around 5 pm. • Fee includes deluxe motor coach transportation, NMWA admission, and snacks on the bus. • Bags may be subject to inspection by security upon entry. Bags larger than 16x16 are not permitted in the galleries. Visit https://nmwa.org/visit/visitor-guidelines/ for additional visitor policies. • Lunch will be on your own. Many options are available within easy walking distance. • Space is limited, and registration is first-come, first-served. • You will receive information regarding parking and the trip itinerary one week prior to the bus trip. • Questions?
