Artobus: The Kreeger and Rubell Museums

Instructor: staff
Description: Join us for a bus trip to Washington, DC, where we’ll visit the Kreeger Museum and the Rubell Museum DC! The Kreeger sits on five acres of gardens and terraces and is filled with a collection of 19th and 20th century paintings and sculpture, including work by Monet, Picasso, Frankenthaler, and many more. After a stop for lunch on your own at The Wharf DC, we’ll head to the new Rubell Museum DC, which opened in October and showcases a selection of the Rubell family’s collection of contemporary artwork. • The bus will be leaving promptly at 9 am, and we expect to return to the Delaplaine around 5 pm. • Fee includes deluxe motor coach transportation, museum admission, and snacks on the bus. • Visitors should be prepared to spend considerable time on foot, and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. • Lunch will be on your own at The Wharf DC. Find a list of their restaurants at https://www.wharfdc.com/restaurants/. • Space is limited, and registration is first-come, first-served. • You will receive information regarding parking and the trip itinerary one week prior to the bus trip. • Questions?
