Beginning Jewelry 21-4

Description: This class is geared for absolute beginners. Learn the fundamentals of jewelry fabrication to create a forged cuff or fold formed bracelet, fold formed or hammered earrings, and a chain necklace. Techniques such as piercing, drilling, sawing, stamping, annealing, and simple soldering will be covered. Ideal for the new or novice jeweler, this class will emphasize safety, tool mastery, and skill development, while supporting students through the completion of original jewelry pieces. Students enrolled in jewelry class must be 16 or older.
