Description: Explore watercolor and other wet media! You will learn from artist demonstrations, skill development exercises in color mixing and form building, and guided work on individual projects. Drawing experience is recommended, but not required. SUPPLIES: 140# watercolor block, hot or cold press paper, any watercolor brand comparable with Windsor Newton, in the following colors: Cadmium red-warm, Alizarin crimson-cool, Cadmium orange, Cadmium yellow light, Cadmium yellow deep, Ultramarine blue, Prussian blue, Hooker's green, Sap green, Viridian, Burnt sienna, Raw umber, sepia, and Paine's gray, Palette: any variety that has enough bins to hold at least 6 to 8 mixing areas Brushes: Round natural or synthetic #4, #6, or #8; small flat (chiseled edge) half inch or less in width; 1- inch flat natural or synthetic (optional); very small round either #0 or #1, a sketchpad, pencils, and an eraser.
