Intermediate Jewelry

Description: Continue to develop your skills in basic jewelry fabrication. Class sessions include reviews and demos of essential techniques such as soldering, reticulation, and simple stone setting. We will discuss ideas for new directions, with the opportunity to explore alternative techniques and materials. Prerequisite: Beginning Jewelry. Open to students age 16 and older. REQUIRED: Signed studio waiver (provided in class), safety glasses, earplugs, and ventilated respirator (3M #8515 recommended). Students should bring the metal and supplies that support their current projects. NOTE: Standard metal supplies are available for purchase at The Delaplaine.
