Advanced Jewelry: Color, Twist, and Forge!

Instructor: Beth Carey
Description: Learn and explore more soldering skills while creating beads and rings. Students will form shapes using metal sheets and tubing and add stone accents as desired. Projects presented to develop fabrication and soldering skills are: 1) Colored metal pendant 2) Twisted earrings or pendant 3) Forged spoon. Prerequisite: Beginning Jewelry I or equivalent. Prior oxy/propane torch experience required. Students enrolled in jewelry classes must be 16 or older.
