Intermediate Jewelry

Instructor: Georgina Copanzzi
Description: Continue to develop your skills in basic jewelry fabrication. Class sessions include reviews and demos of essential techniques such as soldering, reticulation, and simple stone setting. Ideas for new directions will be discussed, with the opportunity to explore alternative techniques and materials. Prerequisite: Beginning Jewelry I. Students enrolled in jewelry classes must be 16 or older. REQUIRED: Signed studio waiver (provided in class), safety glasses, earplugs, and ventilated respirator (3M #8515 recommended). Students should bring the metal and supplies that support their current projects. NOTE: Standard metal supplies are available for purchase at The Delaplaine.
