The Creative Side

Description:	Find your own creative voice! By completing a series of exercises and class assignments inspired by artists and art movements throughout the 20th century, students will explore new ways of working toward their visual goals. Rather than focusing on the development of technical skills, students will learn to let go of the objective imagery and concentrate on the visual harmony of the elements of art. All levels are welcome. Students should bring the following SUPPLIES: Drawing pad (18x24); assorted pencils in a range of hardness; assorted paints and brushes (watercolor or acrylic); scissors and masking tape.
