Intro to Woodworking: Bread Tray

Description:	THIS CLASS IS NOW CLOSED. This class meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-9:00pm for 5 weeks. Learn the fundamentals of woodworking while creating a bread tray for your home. Students will explore the characteristics of wood and how to prepare the wood for specific uses. Get hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools. Safety will be emphasized in addition to wood shop and equipment maintenance. Class includes lecture, demos, and one-on-one instruction. No prior experience required. Tuition includes wood and finishing supplies and required safey items. 18 and older. Students are required to complete a studio waiver (available in class).
