Clothed Figure Painting with Lesa Cook

Description:	Working from a live model, students will use oil paints to create a clothed figure in a setting to include drapery and still life. Instructor will provide historical examples, multiple demonstrations and one-on-one instruction. Composition, color harmony, drapery, still life and anatomy will be discussed as will oil painting techniques. Each student will complete a painting of a costumed figure in an environment that includes drapery and still life. Students will learn the basics of oil painting, color mixing, and composition.
