Board of Trustees Application
Thank you for your interest in serving on the Board of The Delaplaine Arts Center! We are currently seeking a variety of applicants for several vacant seats. We are working to put together a final slate of nominees whose skills and strengths best fit the current needs of our Board, and will work best for the welfare of the Delaplaine.
Below is the required application form. Please submit your completed form before August 1. You may also submit a resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Board will review all applications and select a slate of nominees at their September meeting. The election will take place at the Annual Members Meeting, held in November, with terms for new Board members effective January 1.
Board members are required to abide by all Delaplaine policies and to fulfill a list of Board Expectations. Please review the Board Expectations to help you to make a careful and considered decision about your application. This form does not need to be returned at this point, but is for information purposes only.
The Board meets five times a year (in the evening on the last Monday of the month in January, March, May, and September, and at the Annual Members Meeting in November). Meetings may be virtual or in-person at the Delaplaine. The work schedule for the meetings will be set at the first meeting on the year in January.
