Thank you for your interest in serving on the Board of The Delaplaine Arts Center! We are currently seeking a variety of applicants for several vacant seats. We are working to put together a final slate of nominees whose skills and strengths best fit the current needs of our Board, and will work best for the welfare of the Delaplaine.
Below is the required application form. Please submit your completed form before August 1. You may also submit a resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Board will review all applications and select a slate of nominees at their next meeting (in September). The election will take place on the First Saturday of November at the Annual Members Meeting, with terms for new Board members effective January 1.
Board members are required to abide by all Delaplaine policies, and to fulfill a list of Board Expectations. Please review these expectations to help you to make a careful and considered decision about your application . The Board meets 5 times a year (last Monday of the month in January, March, May and September at 6:00PM, and the first Saturday of November at 1:00PM). The work schedule for the meetings will be set at the first meeting on the year in January.
