Experimenting with Observational Drawing

Description: Explore a variety of experimental approaches to observational drawing in this weekend workshop. Through guided and independent studio practice, examine a wide variety of contour drawing techniques and drawing materials. Instruction will utilize the still life as subject matter, as well as a departure point for abstract image making. Instruction will be open-ended, student-centered, and emphasize a process-over-product approach. Tuition includes all supplies. NOTE: This class meets on Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 pm.
