Fiber This exhibition features members of the Clustered Spires Quilt Guild who have made work from two themed challenges: create a quilt that illustrates your favorite song and one that uses geometric shapes as a point of departure.
Work in photo collage and soft pastel The work in this exhibition is a reflection of hope for reconciliation of the cultural divides affecting us in politics, class, religion, gender, and culture and the boundaries put in place between humanity and the natural world.
Mixed media This series of intimate portraits were created on the pages of discarded books using pencil, watercolor, and acrylic. They focus on fleeting expressions, gestures, and moments of recognition. Their modest scale invites close looking, encouraging viewers to slow down and engage with the humanity found in ordinary, often overlooked moments.
Watercolor With a wide range of subject matter and techniques, the work in this exhibition comes from Signature Members of The Baltimore Watercolor Society, one of America’s oldest watercolor societies. This exhibit will include awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mentions by BWS selected juror, Luis Perez.
