Join us for a collaborative work environment, where you can learn and explore new techniques and create your personal visions. Students are encouraged to bring in ideas for projects and will receive as much or as little assistance as needed. Each class, there will be a demo on techniques for those who would like to watch and learn about the ins and outs of ceramics.
Open studio classes are not suggested for beginners. Previous experience with ceramics required.
Tuition includes up to 13 lbs. of clay; access to tools, pottery wheels, and glazes; as well as firing of completed work.
Please note:
- Studio tools will be available for your use, but you are welcome to bring your own.
- Please plan to have your work completed and ready for glaze firing by the end of the course. Delaplaine staff will contact you to pick up your finished pieces after they have been fired.
- The studio is not available to students outside of class time.
