Copying master drawings is a great way to continue developing your drawing skills. This class will take a trip through art history to explore various charcoal, silverpoint, and pen and ink techniques as you copy VanGogh and Goya, Durer and daVinci, and Seurat and Vail. Each class will focus on a presentation of a body of the artist’s work and an individual image for you to copy. The use of tonal range, composition, contrast, and pattern will also be discussed. Previous basic drawing experience recommended. Tuition includes all supplies.
