About the Exhibition
The Emerging Perspectives Exhibition is an annual juried exhibition open for submissions from artists ages 18–35 in any medium, and is geared toward artists beginning the pursuit of their creative discipline, whether enrolled in art-centered education programs or engaged in their own artistic practice, while taking strides in setting their career paths.

About the 2027 Juror
Liana Owad is an artist working with traditional and contemporary mediums to create sculptures and works on paper that explore the domestic space and addresses the ideas of comfort and confinement in the home. She has launched two maker spaces, including at the Chesapeake Arts Center, is an adjunct professor and studio manager at Hood College in Frederick and has exhibited her work throughout the United States.
