Work in a variety of media The annual FCAA exhibition features members’ artworks in a variety of media, including paintings, photography, mixed media, drawings, collages, ceramics, and sculpture. FCAA’s approximately 100 members range from casual painters to full-time professionals. 
Paintings Andreozzi’s work is an affirmation through interpretive painted portraits of lesser known women in history. Painting a contemporary visual likeness and reconceptualizing their contributions confirms their place in our narrative and broadens our understanding of everyday exceptional people shaping history. 
Ceramic and mixed media Boyer explores the idea of a magical pond where creatures live and interact in the deep, dark night, under the light of a crescent moon. Each grouping tells a story with themes such as protection, family, magic, gathering and decay. 
Paintings Cities and industrial landscapes are often thought of as cold and merely utilitarian. This work challenges that notion by considering the beauty in the forms and colors of urban and industrial environments. 
Photography The work in this exhibition attempts to change reality by reimagining perception. Ames says about the work, “If I can change my external reality, I can change my internal reality. It is based on the choices I make.” 
Paintings, drawings, and prints Toys are a source of entertainment for children and a source of inspiration for artists. Turning circles into spheres and triangles into cones on a flat surface is both a challenge and a joy. Work and play are complementary activities. 
Photography This collection of photographs features often overlooked blooms in the Mid-Atlantic region literally everywhere and anywhere where conditions are good for their growth.
