Bundle up as we photograph over 20 boats with their elaborate lighting displays, all located on Carroll Creek! For this one-evening workshop, we will start in the classroom to cover the appropriate camera controls, then head outside to capture unique photos of the stunning fleet. We will also take classic light trail photos along Market and Patrick Streets, taking photos with shutter speeds up to 30 seconds long.
Please bring the following materials to class:
- DSLR or mirrorless camera with the classic P, A/Av, S/Tv and M exposure modes
- Dress appropriately for the weather
- Be prepared to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Tripod – A limited number of tripods are available to borrow. If you do not own one, reach out to our Instruction Manager to reserve one as early as possible.
- Optional: portable stool or seat
