Learn the basics of drawing with pen and ink in this beginner-friendly introductory course. Start by developing techniques through drawing still life arrangements in black and white, then build on those skills through personal projects.
Please bring the following materials to class:
- Sketch book: Bristol board, hot press watercolor, or mixed media – Other kinds of paper will bleed if used with pen and ink.
- Micron / fine-tipped pen set in various sizes, including a very fine point and at least two thick chiseled or pointed markers of the same brand – Important note: Different brands have different shades of black, so it is best to purchase all markers and pens from the same brand.
