Sew up the perfect toy for your furry friends! This fun project will use vintage hand crank sewing machines to create simple catnip filled toys that kitties cannot resist. Then if you like, sew extras to be donated.
Complete the registration request form on the main Helen Smith page, if available. Submitting a request does not guarantee registration. If your child is added to the workshop, you should receive an email notification mid-week before the workshop. If you do not, don’t hesitate to reach out to check on enrollment.
Please note:
- Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow for time to check in at the second floor classrooms. We are unable to admit students arriving after 1pm.
- Helen Smith Workshops are geared for enrolled children only. Parents and guardians are welcome to visit the galleries while the workshops are in session.
- After the workshop, we welcome you to our third-floor studio for Creative Outlet! Kids and their adults are invited to drop-in and get creative together at family tables. Each session features an artist-inspired project as well as open studio activities.
