Working from a live nude model, sculpt multiple gestural poses, done quickly to capture movement and rhythm. Without a lot of detail, the small gestural maquette is a valuable way to work out composition and allows for more dynamism in the pose. These clay sketches are the 3-D version of gesture drawing and an important step in sculpting larger figural work, while also a stand-alone work in themselves. Previous drawing or sculpting experience is recommended. Model fee and all supplies are included with tuition.
