Explore the deeply rich human tradition of storytelling through textile art in this beginner-friendly course. Bring a personal story to life in fabric as you learn large- and small-scale hand appliqué, basic hand embroidery, and hand piecing techniques while experimenting with various forms of mark-making and distressing, incorporation of text, and unconventional materials. Tuition includes all supplies except a thimble and optional sketchbook.
