BIG INK is coming back to the Delaplaine! This blended learning workshop teaches you how to make a woodblock print of epic proportions. First, carve a woodblock up to 40- by 96-inches at home following BIG INK’s online master course. Then, you meet the BIG INK team at the Delaplaine, where you will print your finished carving on The Big Tuna: BIG INK’s custom-designed giant mobile printing press. Limited space available. Visitors are invited to watch the printing process during the BIG INK printmaking workshop taking place at The Delaplaine Arts Center from 2–4 PM each day, Oct 24 and 25. BIG INK will also set up The Anchovy, a small press used to produce 2″ x 3″ mini prints, which are complimentary for visitors. FREE
