Hop aboard to visit three amazing DC museums in one day! The National Building Museum focuses on topics such as architecture, engineering, and landscape architecture through exhibitions, educational programs, and special events. The National Portrait Gallery tells the story of America by portraying the people who shape the nation’s history, development, and culture. The Smithsonian American Art Museum shares the stories of our nation through American art and craft to inspire reflection, spark dialogue, and build connection.
- Space is limited, and registration is first-come, first-served.
- Fee includes motor coach transportation and snacks on the bus.
- The bus will be depart Frederick promptly at 8:00 am, and we expect to return between 5:00 and 6:00 pm.
- Lunch will be on your own at either the National Building Museum’s Konbini by Daikaya cafe, the Courtyard Café at The National Portrait Gallery, or any of the other numerous restaurants within walking distance.
- Please be prepared to walk about 10 minutes from the National Building Museum to the Portrait Gallery / American Art Museum after the latter open at 11:30 am.
