Advance your skills and explore techniques in transparent watercolor painting. Emphasis will be on the elements of art and how to integrate them into the painting process. Continue to focus on composition and creating light and movement within a watercolor painting while taking inspiration from nature and the landscape.
Prerequisite: Introduction to Watercolor or equivalent introductory watercolor class.
Please bring the following materials to class:
- Two watercolor pads, cold press, 9×12 – recommended: Arches
- Watercolor brushes – recommended: Blick Studio Sableine Synthetic
- Round, short handled, sizes 2, 6 and 8
- Flat, short handled, half-inch
Estimated maximum cost: $50 (Paint is included with tuition.)
