Travel with us to Richmond to see Frida: Beyond the Myth, a special exhibit on 20th-century Mexican artist Frida Kahlo at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA). As the only East Coast venue and one of only two venues nationwide, VMFA presents a rare opportunity to be in the presence of this singular artist’s immortalizing work, including more than sixty paintings, drawings, prints, and photographs, many rarely seen outside of Mexico.
