Graphic Era

Exhibition | Bazaar | Workshops
April 4–25, 2020

With new opportunities to share our lives and activities with millions of viewers instantaneously, a resurgence in the field of graphic illustration has generated new innovations in the age-old artform. Brand-name corporations, magazines, and media outlets are turning to artists to engage a public whose attention is being drawn in more ways than ever before. As competition grows for the “thumb-stopping” social network users, illustrators are leading the art community through new and uncharted territory.

Graphic Era gathers artists from around the country who are using illustration, both traditionally and digitally, to engage larger audiences through social, digital, and print media. Artists working in editorial, conceptual, and book illustration will introduce visitors to an artform that is evolving for a new generation and their interests.
