Each class\, there will be a demo on techniques for those who would like to watch and learn about the ins and outs of ceramics. \nOpen studio classes are not suggested for beginners. Previous experience with ceramics required. \nTuition includes up to 25 lbs. of clay; access to tools\, pottery wheels\, and glazes; as well as firing of completed work. \nPlease note: \n\nStudio tools will be available for your use\, but you are welcome to bring your own.\nPlease plan to have your work completed and ready for glaze firing by the end of the course. Delaplaine staff will contact you to pick up your finished pieces after they have been fired.\nThe studio is not available to students outside of class time.\nThere will be no class on July 7.

This weekend advanced beginner class focuses on leveling up your garment construction skills while making a dress you will actually want to wear.  \nTuition includes all supplies\, aside from fabric. \nPlease bring the following materials to class: \n\nWoven fabric of your choice for the dress – 4 yards – Please ensure your fabric is woven\, not knit\, and you have 4 yards (not feet) of fabric.\nIf you own a sewing machine\, please bring it with you. If you do not\, please reach out to the Instruction Manager to reserve one as early as possible.\n\nNOTE: \n\nThis workshop will take place from 10am to 4:30pm on on Saturday and 12 to 4pm on Sunday.\nStudents may take a lunch break mid-day if they wish.
