DESCRIPTION:Join us on a visit to The Phillips Collection\, a century-old collection of modern and contemporary art originally founded by Duncan Phillips and housed in his former home in Washington\, DC. Following Phillips’s unconventional approach to exhibitions\, galleries are frequently rearranged to facilitate new conversations between artworks and fresh experiences for visitors. On view during our visit will be “Out of Many: Reframing an American Art Collection\,” a special exhibition of how various artists have imagined and depicted the people\, cultures\, landscapes\, and histories of the United States\, with works on loan from Howard University and the University of Maryland. \n\nSpace is limited\, and registration is first-come\, first-served.\nFee includes deluxe motor coach transportation\, special exhibit tickets\, and snacks on the bus.
