DESCRIPTION:Paintings\nWe often overlook ordinary wonders in nature—quiet reminders that grace and beauty persist in familiar places. Invitation takes its title from the poem by Mary Oliver\, echoing its gentle call to pay attention. At its heart\, this show turns our gaze toward process and presence and is an invitation to slow down\, reconnect\, and rediscover wonder in everyday life.

SUMMARY:Rich Isaacman – Night Journeys: Photography After Dark

The world is different after dark: different light\, different skies and cityscapes\, different people. SUMMARY:Sarah Cairns – Inner Space
DESCRIPTION:Paintings \nThis exhibition by is an exploration of peace within chaos. Humans make sense of the world through finding patterns in their surroundings. This search for repetition and self-similarity not only orders the complexity of the world but also ushers in a profound sense of peace. It is this moment of serene introspection that the artist aims to recreate for those who view her paintings.

SUMMARY:Contemporary Innovations: James Gardner – Of Verses\, Vines\, and Venerators
DESCRIPTION:Mixed media \nA collection of recent work by Montreal artist James Gardner\, this exhibition continues his task of reinterpreting religious imagery through the lens of Western esotericism. Looking to the iconography of martyrdoms and the depictions of saints\, Gardner’s recent work traces the historical iterations and mutations of these images while attempting to link their symbolism with myth and personal resonances. Through the activity of painting\, common or even mundane images continually evolve to help in processes that reclaim the “symbolic imaginal” and animate new forms of knowledge and experience.

SUMMARY:Rhonda Smith – Persistence
DESCRIPTION:Linoleum prints \nCutting these images of the historic farmland of Antietam National Battlefield is the artist’s way of cultivating a fertile line of remembrance to forge a memory of place. Places hold the history of what came before only as long as we care to acknowledge the power of place within our national discourse. Acknowledging the past is the only way to fully embrace “all men are created equal” as a national identity and destiny.
